This refurbishment project in Maidenhead was an exciting endeavor, achieved through seamless collaboration with our skilled team of interior designers and an engaged, communicative client. Despite the challenges posed by the 1980s house’s structural complexity—featuring heavy concrete planks instead of traditional wood—we successfully supported the existing structures while integrating modern features that enhanced its unique character.
Our close work with interior designers ensured the layout was optimized, addressing the client’s feedback and minor modifications with precision. All windows, doors, guttering, and downpipes were replaced with high-quality aluminum fixtures, maintaining consistency and durability throughout the residence. Bespoke joinery was carefully crafted to align with the home’s cohesive aesthetic and to meet the client’s specific needs, such as storage for music collections.
Significant transformations were made at the rear of the property, where original bay windows were replaced with sleek glass sliding doors, flooding the living spaces with natural light. The installation of updated electrical and plumbing systems enabled a modern lifestyle, including smart lighting solutions. While preserving the house’s original structure, its interiors were revitalized, blending classic elements with contemporary design.
